KidsFirst is a free co-parenting app built by KidsFirst Vision, an Australian company founded by Vincent, a father who lived through high-conflict co-parenting with his own daughter. His journey began when he witnessed her caught in the crossfire of conflicts between her separated parents. At that moment, he knew he needed to do something to protect her.
He sought ways to reduce tensions with the other parent, but the more he tried, the more he realized that communication easily broke down, ironically a major factor in their separation.
Meeting other divorced parents opened his eyes to a heartbreaking reality. Children were caught in the middle, alienated from one parent, or worse, abandoned entirely.
KidsFirst was born – a peaceful, effective platform for co-parents to discuss their children's needs. Today, KidsFirst is founder-led and community-built: a growing group of parents, professionals, and specialists who help make it better. We're supported by Amazon Web Services through their startup program, and we're not run to make a profit: every dollar goes back into keeping the core free and reaching more families. We're working toward formal charity registration to put the mission on an even more lasting footing.
Commitments, not slogans.
Free for those who need it most
Core co-parenting features are free, always. The families already paying for lawyers, court fees, and a second home shouldn't be priced out of calmer co-parenting.
Your data is safe by design
We never train AI on your private messages, we don't sell or trade your data, and no contributor can read your private records. It's enforced by how the app is built.
Built to last, not to profit
Founder-led, community-built, supported by AWS, and working toward charity registration, so the mission outlives any one person.
